I bought it from a guy that bought it new in 2005. He hardly ever rode it...obviously. No power commander Plug look good..not too lean or carbon fouled Stock style air cleaner. Not sure if it's a high flow filter. I'll pull the air cleaner off tomorrow and check out the filter. Lots of "Live to...

05 WG starting to run rough and miss...

Bike is an 05 fuel injected model and only has 2600 miles on it. Has Pythons pipes from when it was bought new from dealer. I bought it 2 months ago with 2000 miles and it was running great for about 400 miles. Lately I noticed at 25-30 mph it would get an occasional miss or sneeze if held at a cons...

Looking for opinions

I'm in the market for a new bike. I'm looking at either the Softail Custom, Road Glide or Street Glide. Anything you could think of to make me not want any of these?
Anyone have any good deals on either of these 3?

Thanks

Bryan

Carb recommendations

I still need to buy a carb for my 68 FLH. Motor had to be bored .020 to clean up cylinder. While it was open I went one compression point higher and an Andrews G cam ( I think). It's maybe 2 steps above stock. I've asked a few people about what carb to run and got different answers. 1 guy swears by ...

Cancer sucks! I've known several good people that have been taken from it. Like the others said, at least he got to experience something he wanted before he went. Sorry to hear this about him :-(

I just pulled the trigger

I just submitted my retirement paperwork from the Air Force. wrench% Official date will be Feb 1st 2009. It's kind of scary giving up a perfectly good, good paying job but it's time to move on to bigger and better things without having to worry about being sent back to Iraq or Afghanistan. We will m...

Finally getting started

Day 1 I think I bought this as a roller about 2 years ago. Wow, it' been a long time since I've wanted to get started, even a little bit on this thing, but now the time has come. The plans is to have it all done in 3 weeks time. Yesterday was the first day and this is what I started with: http:/...

I'm in the Air Force and once a year we get to test and hopefully get promoted to the next rank. If I make it then I get to be a Master Sgt or E-7. It would be an extra $750/mo
