Postby Rick » Mon Jun 18, 2007 10:43 am

Heres the Pictures and details..

First of all this car is owned by a friend in his 70's
It has been sitting in a large garage since 1987 maybe longer

Started as a project for his son .. along with many other cars in the same Garage..

The Engine is a Low Milage 1969 307 installed in 1986 With A/C
all 4 1973 Rally's are with the car
Many parts seen missing are all there,, I could not find a grill
There is a bumper , fenders, wheel well housings ,,

Many extra parts from a parts car are packed in the trunk and back seat

Some light rust ,,Floors are in good shape, interior is alot cleaner then expected..

$1,500.00 + you will need a tow truck or a trailer to remove it from
the garage

Pictures will follow within an hour of this post

THANKS!!

Postby reggert » Wed Jun 27, 2007 10:36 pm

Rick...Thanks again. Look forward to talking to you next week. When we come over to grab the title, as long as you think there are no cracks on that 400, we will wind up grabbing that to. Oh, by the way, we looked in the trunk and back seat. There were no lower control arms for a chevelle and there were no tools. But, we were able to find the codeon the engine and with the help of the internet, were able to determine that the engine is a 69 350!!. Talk to you next week. I will call you Tuesday or Wednesday but give me a call once you go to the place and let me know what they say. Thanks again!!!....Rob

I had a feeling it was a 69 350 :D
All fingers pointed in that direction
I didnt want to rip that tag out of the way
Something about bending 40 year old Original parts makes me Nervous

I felt better just letting you know and then do all the bending yourself

I'm glad it worked out that way ...
Pass the word around ... No BS over here :D

I'll have that 400 out by the weekend ,, It's not Cracked !
This place is full of small treasures
All the junk was seperated ,,Well Sort of ..............

Thanks Again
Hope to do more business in the future

Guages

Postby reggert » Sat Jun 30, 2007 11:06 pm

Rick...Noticed on the GD.com website you had listed the 4 guage cluster. Was looking for guages like that to install. Put them aside for me, if possible. Will pick up this week when we come to get the other stuff :D Rob

Rick, we were trying to plan the week around my buddy's work schedule. We were thinking about coming up sometime on Friday. Afternoon or evening, we could do the same time as last time. Does not matter to us. Think you might have the title by then? Thanks again....Rob
